I looked at my page views today and was awestruck. Thank you all so much for all your support over the years! I really don’t have much else to say except thank you for helping me me reach such an amazing milestone. I may not always be the most consistent, but I’m glad you like what I’ve written so far and hope you will continue to enjoy in the future.

Love you guys. Your support makes me so happy, and even if I never make it as a professional writer, at least I was ok at writing wedgie fetish stories.

Having been a member of this community for a pretty long period of time, I have always wanted to see a wedgie game. However, save for a few amazing exceptions, wedgie games are fairly scarce due to the amount of time and effort that it can take to create a game. With many promised wedgie games never released or lost in internet obscurity as time has moved on, it was nice to actually see another game for once!

Today, I am going to be reviewing "Step Sisters: National Wedgie Day!" made by the wonderful :iconBetweenTwoCheeks:

Plot

The plot of this game is relatively simple. It is National Wedgie day and the dorky protagonist, Ashley, is trying to avoid getting some huge and painful wedgies from her goth sister, Luna. There really isn't much more needed to be said here other than hilarity ensues as Ashley runs about the school trying to avoid the grabby hands of her step sister and keep those way as far away from her waistband as possible.

Gameplay

This game is a visual novel type of game in which you mostly click through the story and occasionally have to make a decision. There are 4 choices in this game in which you have to pick from one of two options. One decision will lead to the story continuing and one will lead to a bad end of Ashley getting her panties shoved so far up her crack that she'd need pliers to undo the damage. The final decision of the game will determine if you also get a good or bad end for our nerdy protagonist.

This is definitely a game where you want to see the bad endings for each choice. Each bad ending rewards you with an amazingly well drawn cg which I will dive into later.

Characters

The game only has 2 main characters with 1 that can be considered a side character. There are some background characters that talk, however, you never do see models for them and they are more there to interact with the main bunch.

If you are unfamiliar with the OC's of :iconBetweenTwoCheeks: let me explain them now.

Ashley is a red headed nerdy type of character who is very timid and meek in her personality. This contrasts well with her rough and tough goth sister, Luna, who is dead set on tormenting her. The interactions between them in the game were pretty fun to watch and their personalities are unique enough where it doesn't seem like just another stereotypical nerd/bully type of dynamic. I was also a fan of Ashley's friend, Sam, who is your typical athletic girl type of character. Their interaction were adorable and when they talked about giving someone a wedgie in the past and started giggling about it, it put a smile on my face cause of how cute it was.

The interactions overall were just so silly and fun, and never took themselves too seriously. I feel like they were the perfect type of interactions a game like this needs.

Art

First of all the cgs in this game were amazing and considering they were done by :iconBloom225: Seriously her art work is amazingly detailed and well drawn and in case you live under a rock in this community and have not heard of her I encourage you with all my being to got check out her amazing wedgie works. 5 cgs of this game were made by her and they were absolutely stunning and amazing pieces of work. I am no artist but I'd argue she's one of the most talented artists in this community, and the fact that she worked on this game was reason enough for me to play it!

As for the rest of the game, during the talking segments, the art is pretty standard. The assets and backgrounds were all borrowed from Kisekae maker. If a re-release were ever done of this game I would like to see hand drawn models and backgrounds or at least different backgrounds from those I see used all the time in Kisekae photos. It didn't hinder my enjoyment of the game, but it is something I would consider doing in the future to make this game even more professional.

Audio

The fact that this game was voiced made me so happy. It was done by a voice actress named MissMoonified, and I highly encourage you check out her dub of the Step Sisters wedgie comic. GIven the content of this game, the fact that there is a voice actor at all is impressive, and she delivered her lines in a way that really brought out the personalities of the characters.

The music itself was basic and seemed like they were just stock sounds but they fit the scenes well. I especially liked the part where Ashley got triumphant and faced Luna and the music picked up! It made the scene that much more satisfying.

Writing

The writing here was detailed and well done. As a wedgie writer, I can say that this is definitely some of the best writing I've seen in the community. I can tell a lot of thought and effort went into making the descriptions as unique and interesting as possible. The dialogue was pretty juvenile and silly, and it fit the theme of this game well. I enjoyed the lines of the characters very much, some of them were pretty funny to read.

Overall

I'd recommend this game to just about anyone who likes girl wedgies! It's only around 15-20 minutes long, and feels like an anime episode of a show I always wanted to exist, and it is worth every second. I am excited to see any future game projects and am excited for the possibility of more wedgie games! If you want to play the game you can find it linked below.
